What you are looking at here is a butternut squash that I have peeled, cut in half, and about to scoop out all the seeds and stringy membrane, and cut into pieces. I did the same to half a large onion. I put all of that inn a big bowl, sprinkled on some sea salt and ground some fresh pepper on the pieces. I think other spices that would be good on here are cinnamon or cumin. I slowly poured on some olive oil and stirred it till all the pieces were LIGHTLY coated.

Now Trish, you say cubed squash and onions....me thinks you "forgot" to mention garlic. There are some great big cloves in your pic. I'm just sayin'... ( ^8
