Today I am heading out to the Juniper Hills Community Association Pancake breakfast and Christmas Boutique. I have a lot of goodies and hope to see you all there. I did get
This is where I was this last Sunday. This was my 4th year in the same spot.
These were the Critters of Honor. The white one down in front had this cute little puff on the back of her head. Thanks to Heartblossom Homestead...and Kelly Kirkman.
This is the race track. Four at a time...first one to the end wins.
They had games...
Arts and crafts by Deborah Mavrolas..nice stand!
Our local retired teachers running for the school board. Good luck on your political endeavors!
A young entrepreneur. Love your pluck.
Then there was me! The jars on the table were all the different things I had available. I also made peanut butter cookies, zucchini bread, and pumpkin bread. Luckily the weather was nice...not too windy.
Just to show...we had food.
These ladies had desserts.
Lisa Bluemm was there with her Mary K. Check her out!
Big Al's Pizza was there also. Greg and Ruben are always there supporting our community. Thanks guys.
Anyway...next Saturday, October 12th, 9-2. I will be at the Juniper Hills Community Association's Annual Pancake breakfast and Christmas boutique. Shew...what a mouthful. The address is 31401 106th ST E., Littlerock, CA 93543. Hopefully I will have pomegranate jelly by then.
Stop by there to support your community...and maybe try some of my goodies. All would be greatly appreciated...at least by me.
Four years ago this week, I started this web-site. I have to say, it has been a labor of love.
This picture was taken when my Sister was here on a visit. We both have printing experience (actually, my younger Brother has it too) so she helped me stage the table. ( I was getting ready to can some hot pepper relish). I put this picture on my front page.
My Sister has since passed, and two weeks ago her two children both have had babies. My how things have changed.
I started this site to share recipes and gardening techniques and projects around the house. I don't have as many projects as I would have liked, but that doesn't mean it won't happen in the NEAR future. I have been pulling up carpet to prepare for the new flooring. I am sure I can do it myself...I used to build airplanes for a living...and I was really good at it. Must have been all the engineers I hung around. OR, maybe...I'm just mechanically inclined.
I just re-upped this site for another 2 years. Let's see what we can get into.
I would also like to say Thank you to all you people who have hung in from the beginning. You know who you are. You all hold a special place in my heart for bearing with me through all of this.
I love every one of you.
