I had my eyes examined this week.

I found it funny that the office girl put me on some computer run machines that examined my eyes.  Then I went in to the Dr. and he tested me manually.

I have gone to this eye Dr. before, but at a different office.  They called that office and found out that my eye prescription had gotten better.  BETTER!  That amazes me.

The last time he checked my eyes, he didn't have the computer tester.  This makes me think that the last time he checked them, wasn't as accurate as this time.

Then he tells me that he wants to check me in a year, instead of two, because sometimes when your sight gets better, it could be a precursor to Diabetes.  I had never heard that.  He also checked the surface of my eyes and said they were perfect.  No cataracts or glaucoma.

For the last three years I have been walking around with my glasses in my shirt-collar.  Except for when I am in bed watching TV.  When I bought my glasses, I got them WITHOUT bi-focal lenses.  That way I could watch TV lying down.  This meant that if my glasses were on my collar, I was doing close-up work.  I do not need reading glasses...at this time.  (YEAH!)  I digress.

I did find it strange that he used 'scare tactics' to entice me into a sooner appointment.

I have been praying..."show me the next right action, and give me the eyes to see it".

Maybe God thought I needed better sight.  What a Joker.
