Sunday is the Duck Races in Pearblossom, Ca.  I will have a stand set up right at the front where I always do.

You see...I had been in a whirl wind mess with Farmer J when the Lady called and left a message about signing up for my booth.  Needless to say...it got lost in the shuffle.  For a week I have been trying to get the phone number so I can sign up.

Then yesterday I went to our local market...Farmers Market...to get some things for dinner.  While I was in there, a man turned to me, smiled, and asked me how I was doing.  I told him...wonderful, thanks for asking.  How are you?  As we got to talking, it turned out that him and his wife are the ones setting up the Duck Races this year.  Last year...the man who had been organizing the races, died.  He will be missed.  After all was said and done, he gave me my spot and said I could sign up Sunday.  I LOVE living in a small town...where everybody knows your name.  Or at least your face.

In my case it is either my hair or my voice that everyone recognizes.  It is what 'stands out'.

Anyway...I am looking forward to seeing you all again.  I will have hot pepper relish and pomegranate jelly, zucchini and banana bread.  I am still thinking about mini apple pies, and cinnamon rolls.  I also have some other jelly and pickles.  All home grown for your eating pleasure.

Pearblossom Duck Races, 126th st. @ Pearblossom Hwy. Duck Follow the signs.  10am to 5pm.  Hope to see you there.

Hey Trish, yes, your hair and your voice are both striking, but those of us that know you find your heart way more striking. Love you!

Hi Trish! This is Kelly, the "goat lady" :). Was good to see you both at the Duck Races & the JH Boutique. Do you have a facebook page? Mine is Heartblossom Homestead - feel free to 'friend' me if you do facebook. Could you maybe e-mail me with the contact info for the upcoming psychic fair we spoke about? I would truly appreciate it! Thanks! Keep up the good work!
