This is how barren my garden looks.  It will be even more barren when I pull up the rest of the dead and dying.  I really miss all the lush plants in here.

I also want to make sure I have enough stuff planted to start some boxes for next Spring.  I know I keep saying that...but it needs to be right so I can be counted on.  Good food.  It is what I want for you all.

Farmer J plans on pruning the fruit trees this Fall so we get better fruit in the Spring.  As long as a freeze doesn't mess things up like it did this year.  It was such a disappointment.  I only know a couple of people who got any fruit at all in town.  I guess that is the usual plight of farmers.

What I want here is more fertilizer (horse or bird manure, or both).  AND...then rototilled under.  Maybe I need to get more compost.
This is the location of next Springs First year rotation garden.  The tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers.  It is why we moved the limbs farther back.  We will be clearing this area, fertilizing it, and fencing it in.

I would really like to have an auto-watering system so I can spend more time 'tending' the plants.  But that costs money.  So...I guess I will be doing it by hand.

Until further notice...
