CLEANING 11/17/2009
 
I have been cleaning out my cupboards today.  It seems that this time of year everyone is asking for donations so I clean out my cupboards so I know what I want to give away.

Another thing that happened today was someone called and asked if I would like some free eggs.  They are all different sizes and I need to "candle" them to make sure they haven't been fertilized.  Then I think I will make an angel food cake.  I have my Grandma S's angel food cake pans.  AND some cake flour..it is ground much finer.  I believe that is what Grandma used when she made hers.  But she is not here to ask anymore.  I just remember seeing that box in her cupboard.  Funny what you remember.

I NEED to clean out my cupboards! But first I want to get caught up on my laundry......

Love that you are being given eggs! Very cool. We used to have our own chickens and I miss them from time to time.....well, at least I do miss the eggs.

You have to let me know how the cake turned out . She did make the very best angle food cake I have ever eaten.
