There are TEN new 'bitties' at Farmer J's.  I am so excited!  The other 'bitties' are teenagers now.
Picture
The one in Farmer J's right hand looks like it's posing for the camera.  It is so hard to hold these bitties.  They squirm around a lot.  Plus, you have to be very, very careful, because their bones are more 'light-weight'.  More conducive for flight.  But easy to break.

I took this picture last week, I think, of the teenagers.  Farmer J has now increased his flock by sixteen.  That is a LOT more duck eggs we can sell (or ducklings), next Spring.  I was looking on the internet about all his fowls eggs and duck eggs were selling for 3 dollars each.

There are a few things I want to show you.  You can see how the tomatoes have taken over their bed.  On this end is a volunteer tomatillo plant, or husk tomato.  See all the blooms?
Picture
Nice bloom!  Too bad it is not in focus...the leaf is.

I am in awe of how many eggplant blooms I have.  Seems I will be collecting eggplants for some time to come.

The other bitties I wanted to show you are these.  Beans!  They are about an inch long.

Hope they grow really fast!  I'm hungry for them.
