The Aquarium 08/16/2011
While we were in S.F. this weekend we went to the Aquarium. I took a bunch of great pictures. I just LOVE my camera! This is a jellyfish. More jellies...as they call them. They make me think of ghosts. I like this picture of a star fish. You can see all the little suckers. This one looks like he is saying..."Hurry! This way!" An anemone and a crab. The colors are great! Here is Honyak #3 looking at a Sturgeon. I am told they come from prehistoric times. This Honyak is 12 and pretty tall. I think the other fish are Leopard sharks. This picture looks like someone used Photo shop to put people lips on this stingray...cracks me up. There was also a petting pool. It had rays and sharks in it. The skin on this ray was very smooth. I didn't get to touch the shark. If you look really close, right in the center of the picture, you will notice the faint outline of a ray in the sand. His eyes are in line with the right hand. He is looking right at me. He blinks in this one. And disappears. How funny. Bunches of star fish and mollusks. Very colorful. By hanging out with all the wildlife, some of us got transformed. ******************************************************************************* Add Comment |
