It rained this weekend! We were so pleased! It hardly ever rains this time of year. Gave me a small break on watering. Farmer J and I took the kids back in the mountains to a little waterfall. Small hike.
The Lad and I got a little scared when we were driving back here but we are scaredy cats when it comes to off-roading. It was worth it.
The water was very cold, but it didn't seem to bother Farmer J's youngest. The two older boys were not so adventurous.
If you look closely at the lower left-hand corner you will see a red blur. This place had a bunch of red dragonflies flying all over the place. This was the only picture I could get of them.
Here you see how the older lads felt about the water. I have to say...a good time was had by all.
