Well...I know! It is a gopher hole!
AND...another one!! This one is covered back up...but easily opened.
Here's another one! The little b*&^%^$ is messing up my day. I had planned on planting this garden today. The weather is perfect for working outside. Just a little windy.
"Oh, look! What has happened to my cabbage?"
It seems the S.O.B. drug MY cabbage down his hole so he could eat in peace. Let me show you what he gets now!
He gets a free lunch and a one-way ticket to out-of-my-garden. The yellow string is staked to the ground so he can't drag the trap down the hole. I even put a fresh cabbage behind the trap for the wind to blow the fragrance down in his den.
Dinner is served, Destroyer of my garden and all my hard work.
Just so you all know, I HATE doing this. Hate! I know how...but I still hate it. I wish the owls would just do their work so I wouldn't have to do this.
