Just a few updates on my garden. As you can see here, I have moved my fence and stapled it to my box. The edge is supposed to keep the bunnies from digging right next to the box. Let's hope they don't figure out that they could just bite through it. Being plastic and all.
I have the boxes made for the outside edge of my new garden area. The Lad and Farmer J's oldest helped me with this area. Thanks guys. You are the bomb!
We took the proposed boxes out of the center. Farmer J thinks it will be better to just do rows there. I think it will be a good test. You know how I like those.
I put chicken poo in these boxes as well. Gotta love Farmer J! There are still some Savoy cabbage here.
As I was wondering around the other day I found these. I think these are nut hatch grass, blooming. I need to pick them off.
The West wing got chicken poo, too. Chicken poo all around!
I am also proud to show you my artichokes. The Lad loves them.
Several months ago, my next door neighbor passed away. This is her acre. All covered in weeds. Something she never let happen. I sure miss her. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
