Yesterday, I picked the Anaheim peppers. I read that, to get them to produce and keep producing, you need to pick the fruit. So I did. Farmer J loves these roasted on the grill.
I am also looking forward to these little babies growing up. I count nine blooms on this plant alone. That is a lot of eggplant Parmesan. My specialty. Or...one of them.
I have to say that I am very happy with the progress of my garden. It seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. Every morning has me wanting to show you just how much they have been grown. Sort of like a child as it hits a growth spurt. I swear, there were times when The Lad would vibrate and then stretch another inch...right before my very eyes. Amazing to behold.
Now that this area is fenced in, I can start planting it. I want to put in more corn, tomatoes, green beans, or all sorts of beans, really. AND...cucumbers. I want to make pickles. Dill pickles and bread and butter pickles.
The possibilities are endless. My kind of 'thing'.
