I just wanted to show you my apples.  These are Granny Smith apples.
Picture
They are what I use to make my apple pies.  It seems that this tree will have enough apples for at least one pie.  That is if all goes well over the next 4 months.  No birds eating them, or bugs, or a freeze, or hail.  I'm sure I could think of a few more bad things that could happen...but I don't want to bring the wrath of the Universe down on my poor, helpless apples.  I will think good thoughts, and hope for the best.

I want something special to make pies out of for my Fair entry.  I want to pull down a Blue ribbon this year.  Maybe even best of division, or Judge's choice.  Then I can say 'Award winning Apple pie'.  I can say that now...it just isn't a blue ribbon.

I have taken a second place award.  Three times.  It just needs to 'look' more pretty.  The taste is already there.

It tastes like love.

In case I didn't tell you...we have weeds.  Lots, and lots, and LOTS of weeds.  The rock pile is a problem all by itself...but there are weeds!  All!  Over!
Picture
These weeds are chest high...so they are really out of control.  Which made it hard to see this...

My apple tree in full bloom.  So...here is my prayer...
Picture
"Oh, please!  Please be enough apples to make a pie...for the fair"
