Farmer J's oldest son is helping me in the yard. Just in case I need to go away for a couple of days, I was showing him how and what to water. He took it upon himself to put a well around my apple trees. He is such a great young man. It was something I would have done, except I can't 'kick' a shovel.
The sad part is...I think that butt-head rodent ate all my 'fair' apples. Because they are G-O-N-E!
So...I guess I need to step-up my trapping techniques.
THIS does not make me very happy.
